    Description

The core mechanic of Slingshot Maneuver is based on a real technique used by NASA to save on fuel when sending unmanned spacecraft into the outer solar system. They will use the gravity of planets as a “slingshot” to get a boost in speed and reduce fuel consumption.

Two military forces fight for control of the solar system, and slingshot maneuvers are very important to their strategies. Ships equipped with advanced stealth technology are only visible when they fire their boosters. Therefore, firing your rockets out of site of the enemy, and using slingshot maneuvers to conduct attacks on unsuspecting enemies can be absolutely devastating.
