The Dreaming Rooms of the Sphinx
DescriptionPublisher's blurb: This adventure comprises a room with a musical puzzle and a second room with a sequence of riddles attached to combat encounters. It can be run as a one shot or the rooms can be used as modular parts of any dungeon in want of puzzles. Run time is likely in the 2-3 hour range. Giving clues, cutting the number of summoned combatants and dropping a riddle or two should allow you to trim the length as you go. Scaling notes are provided to adjust the encounters for parties of different levels. The Dreaming Rooms of the Sphinx Sekhemib the Dreamer (Big Sezz to his mates) is just a hard working sphinx in a mean old world. He's a real self starter, whatever that means. With his own two front paws he's built his business from nothing into one of the leading architectural firms in the planes. He even works nights, designing puzzles and riddles in his dreams. Lately there's been a bit of a hold up there. His employees are supposed to solve his dreams, while he gets a good night's sleep, but this time they just can't quite cut the mustard. Big Sezz could probably lucid dream and solve them himself, but leadership means delegation, so it's time to call in the independent contractors.
