    Description

In Treacherous Trails, the players begin as pioneers in the American Mid-West, and must take the money they start with and decide how to use it as they travel across the West, to their destination on the Pacific coast.

Should they buy a wagon and mule team, or use oxen? Go light and ride on horseback with a pack mule? And what provisions to pack; should they carry a lot of food or hope to hunt and forage along the way? And what kind of gear? Should they spend all the money or save some for the destination? Not knowing what they will encounter on the trail, they must use their best judgement, and no matter how often the game is played, the cards (including random events) will change and the results will vary, even if the same choices are made at the outset. The replayability is high, in this family-friendly, yet competitive game of the American West.

There are 5 trail choices you may take, or you can play as an outlaw along a trail, and once their trails & equipment have been chosen, the game begins. Players vie to reach their cities and then select a career and amass wealth, as they establish themselves on the West coast!
