    Description

This game is about the Veracruz Campaign during the Mexican-American War of 1845-1848.

The map is a 20x36 hexagon grid representing the operational area from Mexico City to the Gulf of Mexico and divided into three zones by red zone indicator lines. Each hex represents approximately 10km.
The Mexican forces are made up of primarily regulars of regimental size, but are augmented by Mexican cavalry, artillery, militia, guerrilla bands and local villagers capable of waging defensive combat. The US forces are composed of regimental sized infantry, artillery and engineers.
