    Description

Acedrex Backgammon is a four-handed variant inspired on [The World: a four-handed backgammon, 1283 a.D.], which is on Alfonso X codex. The concept lies on middle age wars, were warriors engage in combat with shields and swords.
Acedrex Backgammon proposes a more fluid betting model and the “prime” [slots blocked by pieces] from milenar backgammon has been replaced by small battles between pieces competing for same slot, battles called Acedrex, [Ace] if attacker wins and [Drex] if defender wins, allowing players to take part in every turn if they have their pieces on same territory where turn is.
