Age of Steam: Wales was designed for commercial publication and has now been made available as a free print-and-play expansion for the Age of Steam base game.

This map is intended to be played with 3 to 6 players, with the map reputedly playing best with 4 or 5.

Wales features expensive terrain, multiple track gauges (narrow and standard) with different terrain costs, different links records for each gauge, and upgrades of narrow gauge track to standard gauge.
