Description

Almighty: a Game of Gods & Ends is a competitive strategy board game of divine proportions. You are a primordial cosmic deity: create a world, populate it with Followers to generate Belief, build a pantheon of powerful gods to compete with other players for influence, and claim your followers' little bean souls into your underworld before destroying everything in a cataclysmic doomsday event. It's good to be a god!

Almighty is a game of open drafting from a common market, hand management, and area control on a shared world map. On your turn, play a god card from hand to either take a card of the same suit from the Offer, paying its cost in Belief - or its unique action, tucking additional gods from hand under it to amplify its effect. Gods can populate the world with your Followers, move them between map areas and over treacherous Terrain pieces to replace opponent Shrines with your own, or Claim their tiny souls into your Underworld. At the end of the round, you earn Belief from gods you did NOT play. Use claimed Souls to race to be the first to choose one of three open Doomsday Prophecies, which will decide how the world will end and which type of Follower may be claimed into the afterlife. Players score points for Belief and Souls, and the player with the most points wins the title of ALMIGHTY!
