DescriptionFirst published in 1990, the game has since been reprinted in a more reasonably-sized box. Aggressively marketed, it is still in print. «Do you like Monopoly? Do you like Risk? Then you'll love Cargo Wars!» The game owes a lot to Rail Baron and is also a distant relative of Pirate and Traveler. The shipping lanes are progressively bought out as one completes pick-up-and-deliver contracts, with the added twist that some contracts (more lucrative) are "illegal" --other players may attempt to run you down for a bounty.
