    Description

Cyberrun throws you right into the action in a technologically advanced city filled with symbiotic alien organisms, cybernetically enhanced humans, and AI powered robots.
A group of mercenaries is hired to take on missions no matter the danger. Without further thought the merciless Brute uses the strength of their four arms to charge right into a mob of out-of-control robots to create a path for the Runner to strike the huge Alien. But the Alien only gets into a raging fit and spits toxic poison on the Runner’s arm. The Medic quickly and efficiently comes to their aid and does everything in their power to save them. One of the robots is about to shoot the Medic but the Hacker intervenes, hijacking the robot’s firewall. Finally the Drone pilot finishes off the mob with heavy artillery robots. Only the giant Alien still stands and charges at the pilot with its powerful claws. The mental attack of the psychic stops the Alien in its tracks, trapping the Alien’s mind in agony. Another mission is accomplished when the last gunshot stops Alien’s screaming. The Runner nods off to the Medic as they return with the Alien’s head in their grasp. What might their employee have in mind with such an obnoxious trophy one might wonder but mercenaries ask no questions.

Cyberrun dives right into the sci-fi experience offering six unique starting classes and offers solo-mode and co-op gameplay for up to four players. Players find new augments and upgrades to optimize and customize characters which can be found after accomplishing missions in turn-based strategy combat style. The mercenaries have to defeat a wide variety of Alien swarms, hordes of robots and hostile human factions using mob action mechanics tracked via app on the cellphone. If players use their items strategically they can cancel the opponents’ move before their turn. The party shares a single health pool, ensuring an exciting adventure for the whole party until the end of an encounter.

Cyberrun’s gameplay is designed to combine the cooperative, exciting sci-fi experience with the fun of rolling a dice console in the shape of a traditional D6 - the unidice. Players choose up to six different item options they can roll during their turn using the unidice like a dice gaming controller and cellphone serves as a display. Mercenaries use Action Points to roll/reroll or use the rolled gear.
