Drei große Gefahren sah der Seher von Prioresse für Alba voraus: die Bestie aus der Wildnis, den toten Riesen und den Schatten unter den Bergen. Auch wenn die Bedeutung unklar ist, ist es an der Zeit, sich der machtvollen Reliquien aus alter Zeit zu erinnern und sich mit ihnen gegen dämonische Mächte und andere übernatürliche Feinde zu rüsten. Eine von ihnen ist der Stab der drei Jahreszeiten, mit denen der Heilige Esbern einst den Larneforst im Süden Albas von Ogern, Hexen, Schreckenswürmer und anderen Ungeheuern säuberte.

Das Abenteuer führt die Gefährten in das idyllische Dorf Arkendale, wo vor Jahrhunderten ein Kloster von einem Erdrutsch verschüttet wurde - und dessen letzter Abt der Hüter der gesuchten Reliquie war. Leider sind die Dorfbewohner nicht gut auf Fremde zu sprechen, besonders nicht auf solche, die nach den Schätzen des reichen Klosters graben wollen, und das mit gutem Grund. Vor einer Generation weckte eine Gruppe von Abenteurern etwas, das besser ungestört geblieben wäre, und das war nicht nur ihr Verderben. Das ganze Dorf hatte unter den Folgen zu leiden, bis die albische Kirgh sich des Problems annahm und den Einstieg in die Unterwelt versiegelte.

Den Gefährten bleibt aber nichts anderes übrig, als das Siegel zu brechen und sich den Gefahren der Unterwelt zu stellen. Vorher sollten sie aber versuchen, das Vertrauen der Einwohner von Arkendale zu gewinnen und herauszufinden, wer ihnen wohl gesonnen ist und wer ihnen übel will. Denn Gefahren lauern überall!

Dieses mit dem Spielleiterschirm ausgelieferte Abenteuer konfrontiert Spielerfiguren mit einem mächtigen Hexenzirkel im Dienst des Grünen Jägers und dient gleichzeitig als Vorbereitung für Ereignisse um Gefahren, die ganz Alba bedrohen.

Three major hazards the seer of Prioresse foresaw for Alba: the beast out of the wilderness, the dead giants, and the shadows of the mountains. Even if the meaning is unclear, it is time to remember the powerful relics from ancient times and to arm yourself with them against demonic powers and other supernatural foes. One of them is the staff of the three seasons, with which the Holy Esbern once cleaned the forest of Larne in the south of Alba of ogres, witches, horror worms and other monsters.

The adventure leads the Fellowship in the idyllic village of Arkendale, where centuries ago a monastery was buried by a landslide - and whos last abbot was the guardian of the relic sought. Unfortunately, the villagers do not speak fond of foreigners, especially about those who want to dig for the treasures of the rich monastery, and with good reason. A generation ago, a group of adventurers awakened something that should have stayed undisturbed, and that not only was their undoing. The whole village had to suffer the consequences until the albian Kirgh took care of the problem and sealed the entrance to the underworld.

But the companions have no other choice than to break the seal and to face the dangers of the underworld. Before that, they should try to win the trust of the people of Arkendale and find out who is sympathetic to them and anyone who wishes them ill. Because danger lurks everywhere!

This adventure provided with the gamemaster screen confronts the player cahracters with a powerful coven in the service of the Green Hunter and serves as a preparation for events about dangers that threaten all of Alba.
