    Description

Created by Dave Sim for the comic book Cerebus, Diamondback was published in a separate edition and given to the masses who demanded it. It's a variant of poker and other betting games, but without suits or sets. The cards have a specific point value, and whomever has the highest total points is the winner of the hand.

Each player is given two cards from a deck of 15, 29, or 43 cards (depending on the number of players in the game), and the dealer reveals one of his cards and initiates the betting. Once the dealer decides the betting round is over, all cards are revealed, and the player with the highest point value wins the pot.
