    Description

A sequel to the Parker Bros. Great European War Game, this is a standalone "shoot 'em up" game where the targets are soldiers and officers of the WWI French Army. The cardboard soldiers are 6" high; the mounted officers just over 7" high and the cloth flag on pole rises to 8".

The most interesting feature of this game is the muzzle-loading cannon used for shooting. The hollow wooden barrel, 4.75" long, has a spring-loaded knob at the breech connected to a wooden pusher inside the barrel. Wooden bullets are loaded at the muzzle and ejected when the knob is released.
