    Description

This game is quite unique since it was made in the D.D.R. (East Germany) in 1978. Unsurprisingly it has quite a sober design and a social-communist theme (team spirit, supporting the team undoubtedly stands for supporting the society here). It's title 'Gemeinsam vorn' means 'together ahead' or 'Leading together' in English. The track on the 47x33cm board looks orthogonal. Each player controls a team of 2 cyclists, the movement is done by rolling 2 dice. Tactics are quite simple and limited to deciding which cyclist a player will move. The track has bonus fields (green or red boxes) resulting in a bonus. The winner of the game is the one who wins the team classification (and not the individual winner!
