    Description

Gudnak (the Orcish word for "War") is a expandable tactical card game with easy-to-learn rules and deep tactics. It's played on a 3x3 grid with 2 players, or a 5x5 grid with 4 players. Choose a faction, build your deck of Heroes and Tactics, and then Siege your opponent's Stronghold while defending your own!

Gudnak offers surprising tactical depth both in gameplay and deckbuilding while maintaining easy to grok rules. With small, symmetrically powered deck, Gudnak is ultimately a game about using your fighters to the best of their abilities so that your army outlasts your opponents.

Gudnak is set in a lively fantasy world (that happens to be dying). The sun is dwindling and nobody is handling it particularly well. The looming doomsday and lowering temperatures have caused massive strife in the world as different groups find ways to stay fed and warm. The core set pits four factions against one another:
    - The Refractory: a religious group who believe that the sun is a god who is punishing them. They build keeps and monuments in areas of the world where sunlight is strongest.
    - The Shardsworn Alliance: a tenuous collection of disparate groups, all unified in protecting magical shards they use for energy and power.
    - The Gloaming: undead and spirits emerging from a long-gone Elven kingdom in the North, looking to win the war they once lost.
    - Delguon: a subterranean cult of Dwarves that sacrifice themselves to Demons that demand they enter the fray and rule.

Looks like this world is primed for conflict. Will you be its savior? Or its harbinger of doom?
