    Description

Inspired by Mary Renault's book FIRE FROM HEAVEN, this game simulates Macedonian power politics in the fourth century BCE. The aim of the game is to be the king of the Macedones by the time that all preparations for the invasion of Persia are complete. Kings had to balance the conflicting factions of the Macedonian court and the demands of the powerful barons of the semi-independent Macedonian kingdoms. A successful player must combine aggression and low cunning.
