    Description

Based on the books of beloved Finnish childrens author Mauri Kunnas, Kapteeni ja pilssihiiri ("Captain and the bilge rat") is a roll and move game where players try to get their three pawns to complete a circuit around the board.

Movement is color-coded: red symbol on a die means the red pawn moves to the next red tile, blue moves blue and so on. There are also arrows that let players remove tiles from play. This has two effects: it makes the circuit shorter as players skip over removed tiles and it can also remove a pawn from play, trapping a player until she can return the tile in play.
