    Description

La Defensa – El Asedio de Cádiz 1625 is a solitaire game played on three maps: Strategic, Operational (Map of Cádiz Bay) and Tactical (Map of Cádiz city) where the player will take the Spanish side and the game will take the actions of the Anglo-Dutch allied side (allied). During a certain number of turns and following a game sequence, the Spanish player will carry out the actions on the corresponding game maps on the Cádiz Bay and Strategic Maps during the first part of the game, and on the Cádiz City and Strategic Map if the allied assault on Cádiz occurs.

The objective of the Spanish player is to avoid its defeat in the game. The defeat can be produced by four possible options:
    1. If the 'Cádiz Blockade' is maintained for 4 consecutive turns.
    2. If the allied side reaches the center of Cádiz on the tactical map (Map of Cádiz city).
    3. If the allied side conquers the four cities of the bay (except Cádiz) at the end of the 'Assault on the cities by the allies'.
    4. If the Spanish morale drops to 0 at any time during the game.

If the end of the last game turn (turn 10) is reached and the assault on Cádiz has not taken place, the Spanish player wins the game.
