Sagacity is necessary to move around the district, since the other players are a constant threat. On his turn, a player performs three different actions from a menu of twelve. Most actions involve gaining, buying, selling or discarding various items and cards, often on specific board spaces. They also include moving the player's character, threatening (and possibly attacking) an opponent, earning money, hiring a security guard and winning a woman's heart - or stealing it from another player.
