Description

Moving Castle is an abstract board game, reminiscent of Chess, where there are two goals, the first to Capture the rival Moving Castle, or to reach the Opponent's Starting Rank with your Moving Castle. The Moving Castle Moves like a King in Chess, but has an area of Influence equal to a Queen. Pieces that lie within that range gain Special Effects, powers that improve and allow them to do greater things.

The Moving Castle itself has two Lives, a Piece that Captures its first Life is immediately destroyed instead. A Turn consists of Moving two separate Pieces, then Moving the Moving Castle.

There are also three States: Aggressive, Passive, Passive-Aggressive. For Aggressive, you are forced to Move a single Piece twice, and are required to Capture with the second Move. You may not Capture the Moving Castle using Aggressive State. Passive is the default State, the only "power" is to allow a single Movement in a Turn, instead of two Actions. Passive-Aggressive is the most interesting one, basically in exchange for not Moving, whenever an Opponent Piece comes into range of your Piece in this State, it automatically Captures, as a free Move. This might mean however, your Piece is forced to lure out.
