    Description

    A fun and unique game!

Namasté introduces players to the world of Yoga through 5 different simple and engaging motion games.

The game was developed with Lorena Pajalunga, founder and President of the Italian Yoga Association for Children AIYB.

The positions of yoga are numerous.

We have chosen 40, which are representative and affordable for children. These 40 positions were illustrated by the magical pen of Lorenzo Terranera (Ballarò and many other spells) and then placed on large-format cards, which are divided into two groups.

There are 20 “easier” positions, the cards with green backs, and 20 “less easy”, purple ones, so that all children, in different age groups, can experiment and play.

On each card the name of the asana is written in Sanskrit, the ancient language of India, but don't be scared ... it's just to learn something more, because in the 10 pages of the book with the detailed explanation of all 40 positions you will find the Italian translation of the name of the asana. For each asana the inspiration is also described, the detail of how it must be performed and, very nice, what you learn by practicing it.
Many different games can be played with the contents of this box.

In addition to those that you can invent yourself, 5 are described below, which aim to entertain children (and adults) in many different ways, stimulating creativity (game 1: "Invent your story), memory ( game 2: "Remember the sequence" and game 4: "Make the quartet") and learning the names of the asanas (game 3: "Guess the name"), developing with everyone the improvement of the practice (game 5: "Overcome the teacher").

If playing with children under the age of 6, it is recommended that an adult play the role of the moderator, or teacher. From 6-7 years onwards, the role of the Master can be played, in turn, by the players themselves.

Even if a specific game mode is indicated, all 5 games can be played:

with a single deck of 20 face down cards and taking the top card of the deck from time to time, as in game 1
with 5 piles (4 cards of each type) and throwing the fuchsia die to choose the card, as in game 2
with 4 piles (5 cards of each color) and rolling the black die to choose the card, as in game 3
throwing both dice and looking in the deck for the corresponding card, as in game 5
Before starting to play it must be emphasized that the practice of Yoga must never hurt, and for this reason the positions must always be performed slowly. it is important to respect your limits and not forget that our bodies are not all the same: ease and difficulty vary greatly from one person to another, and an easy asana for one player could be difficult for another.

Contains: 49 cards, 2 dice, 1 gong and 1 book of 24 pages.
