    Description

In February 1945, the Japanese executed Operation Kita ("North"). Two hybrid battleship-aircraft carriers and four escort ships dashed home to Japan from Singapore. The Allies detected the Japanese task force, but all their tries to attack it with submarines and aircraft were ineffectual and failed. These were among the last IJN warships to safely reach Japan before the war ended.

This number 28 in the Pocket Battle Games series from LPS Inc.
