    Description

Pohjantähti is a Finnish literary game based on the Tällä pohjantähden alla novel by Väinö Linna. The game loosely follows the events of the book by having the players visit the places and people from the novel.

The game mechanic is simple, players roll the dice, advance and pick random cards from the deck to collect the property set required to purchase their own lands from the land owners. Random events from the cards and special tiles on the board mix the game up, but it is a race among the players.
