Description

Projeto is a game designed to teach Project Management skills and give to the classroom some experience running a big project for the King: it´s Castle.

The players have 8 years, $60,000,000.00, 300 workers and lot's of tasks to finish the castle. The project may be delayed due to some risks like weather or war. Also, some expectations must be fullfiled, after all, it´s the king ordering a new castle !!

The 8 years are divided in a way that gives the players 2 hours to complete the game. It's a cooperative game and the players must divide the tasks among themselves. While one player takes care of the time passing, another must allocate the workers, other must buy/provide stones, another must transport the stones to the castle section being build. Each semester some events may occur, like snow, war or even good weather, causing delays or making things faster.

After 8 years, the King will move to the castle and make the quality assurance to check if the castle is really safe, if it can accommodate the soldiers and horses and have room for food storage. According to the sections finished, the players score points. A minimum requirement of 50 points must be achieved, of a total of 75 points possible.
