    Description

Skoklaarg is a two-player, abstract strategy board game that is played on a 5x9 board. Each player commands one monarch and sixteen minions tasked with capturing the opponent's castle while protecting their own. Opposing pieces line up on both sides of a row of blue squares representing a river. Minions can move one square to any unoccupied space. Monarchs can move one or two squares in any linear direction and are allowed to capture opposing minions that are two squares away. Monarchs can jump over their own minions but cannot jump over an opposing minion unless they capture (sacrifice) their own on the other side. A player wins by moving their monarch onto the opposing castle space from two squares away.
