    Description

A somewhat restrictive 3 dimensional chess game, with 3 8x8 chess boards stacked one atop the other. For the most part, changing levels is only allowed as part of a piece's first move, or if ending on a "star" square (c3, c6, d4, d5, e4, e5, f3, and f6). Kings may also change level though a special king space (f1 and f8). Captures must be made by pieces starting the turn on the same level, although level changes are allowed after capturing. Similarly, checkmates must be made by pieces all on the same level with no possibility of the king escaping through level changing.
