    Description

Sphex is a connection game that can be played with a Series: Shibumi set, as it uses a 4x4 holes board and balls in two colours (white and black).

Rules: The board starts empty. The opening player places one ball of their colour, then players take turns placing two balls of their colour on legal positions (holes or platforms). The mover can additionally place a neutral ball on their turn, in any order.

Aim: A player wins by connecting any two opposite sides of the board level with a chain of their balls. Balls connect if they touch, i.e. orthogonally adjacent or resting upon each other.
