    Description

Edwardian, British card game. The cards depict events from the Uncle Remus stories in the books by Joel Chandler Harris.
The game is a mix of Snap meets Happy Families. The objective being to collect sets. Children are encouraged to cry out "Brer Rabbit" when they see a matching card, and they must also read the quotation on the card.
Note that there were two different boxes used and it is unknown which came first. The box with the red surround has slightly different graphic under the quotation. The black surround box looks like it was printed slightly later, to me, than the red one.
