The War of Cognac
DescriptionBetween 1526 and 1530 a war broke out in Italy which involved the Peninsula from Calabria to Lombardy; often inserted as an “episode” of long Italian Wars of XVI century, the conflict comes also referred to as War of Cognac, from the name of the locality where the treaty of alliance and formed the League between Rome, Florence, Venice, Milan and France against the Emperor Charles V.
