    Description

The goal of Tonkin is to occupy a complete line on the board with your tokens. A line can consist of three, five, or seven spaces. Players alternate in placing the tokens and later moving them, without jumping.

This game probably dates from the late 18th or early 19th century. The name TONKIN - a Vietnamese island that has been a French colony since 1885 - indicates that this game was already played during the French colonial times. But the game hasn't lost it's charm. Discover the possibilities hidden between the short rule guide!

This is one of several abstract strategy games with high-end beechwood board and components by Intellego Holzspiele.
