    Description

Towers is a game with elements of chess and checkers, played on an 8X8 board

Players start with 15 Towers and one Castellans, with both moving like the chess Rook, and may leap orthogonally over an adjacent piece, landing on the next empty cell.

Castellans may additionally step a single cell diagonally, but not to the goal cell, the corner to a player's left, without capturing.

A player may not enter their own goal cell.

CAPTURE - There are two ways of capture:
Custodian, sandwiching an opponent's piece orthgonally between two of your own pieces, or by Intervention; where a piece steps between two orthogonally placed enemy pieces, it captures them both.

It is possible to move so as to capture in more than one direction at a time.
