    Description

Wero Mai is a M?ori board game intended for students and those at a beginner level in Te Reo M?ori.

It involves four different categories (New Zealand Places, M?ori Culture, Flora & Fauna, Everyday knowledge) to test the player's M?ori knowledge and will extend their learning so they can apply that knowledge in their everyday life.

The game aims to answer three cards per category correctly in M?ori. Players can change the aim from one to three cards depending on their level or time restriction.

Wero Mai's game includes challenges which are the Taniwha and the Niho Taniwha. When the participants land on the Niho Taniwha, they must go to the nearest Taniwha. To escape the Taniwha and continue their Wero Mai journey, they need to roll an even number.
