Description

????????? (Kosodoro Pancake) is a cute dexterity game from Japan. Players have to grab pancakes from a pile using a knife and fork. There are three pancake monsters asleep on the pile, and they must not be disturbed.

The game has a set of discs showing pancakes with lots of different toppings; honeylemon, macha, chocolate, strawberry and so on. The players make up a random pile of discs no wider than 15cm. Three monster standees are put onto the pile. Players take turns using the small disposable knife and fork supplied in the game to gentle lift a pancake free from the pile, without waking the monsters. If a monster is woken, they eat the pancake instead and the player misses out that turn.

As the game progresses, the more pancakes people collect, then a series of traps come into play. Tokens are turned up which put restrictions on the player. For example, they must get the pancake in under 15 seconds, or they can use one hand only.

At the end of the game, the player with the most pancakes is the winner.

The game is packaged in a glass jar with a metal screwtop lid.
